Many mobile home parks have that one building sitting quietly at its center with folding tables stacked against the wall, a kitchenette waiting for coffee to brew, or chairs arranged for a meeting that hasn’t happened yet. Our clubhouse is more than a room. It’s an open invitation waiting for someone to say yes.
Picture a Thursday evening of cards, laughter rising as someone finally wins the hand they’ve been chasing all night. A Saturday coffee hour where new neighbors become familiar faces. A potluck table bending under the weight of a dozen family recipes. A quiet corner where quilters trade stitches and stories in equal measure.
None of it requires much. Just that folding table and deck of cards with someone willing to show up first. What it builds is harder to measure, the kind of community where neighbors who once only nodded from their porches now save each other a seat.
