Low-income utility customers may qualify for 20-35% off on electric or natural gas bills through the California Alternate Rates for Energy (CARE) Program. If you are already enrolled in other public assistance programs, such as Medicaid, WIC, Food Stamps/SNAP, TANF, or SSI, you likely also qualify for the CARE program.
If you are currently on the CARE program, February is time to renew the application by coordinating the application process with your Park Manager. If you think you qualify for the program, be sure to work with your Park Manager to complete the required forms.
